Off-Duty Employment Requests

Lancaster County Sheriff's Deputies may be hired by various types of organizations or individuals for security activities occurring in Lancaster County outside the City Limits of Lincoln. These duties are performed outside of a deputy's schedule for the Sheriff's Office, but all deputies maintain their full uniform and all arrest powers while working off-duty. Both long-term employment opportunities as well as short-term "one time only" events will be considered.

Deputies working in an off-duty capacity are currently paid $30.00 per hour with a three hour minimum.
