Juvenile Expediter Data

The Expediter Services is part of the Graduated Sanctions Program which began in October of 1999 as an alternative to secure detention. The Program is designed to allow juveniles who would otherwise be securely detained in detention or staff secure facilities, to be provided with the opportunity to remain in the community with stabilized supervision and structured supervision. This will allow the youth to remain integrated in the home/community placement, attend school, or be employed and possibly attend counseling or participate in a court ordered evaluation within the community. Detention alternatives include: Evening Reporting Centers provided by CenterPointe, Inc., B.E.S.T. School, Cedars Youth Services Day Reporting, Intensive Tracker Services provided by Cedars Youth Services and Project H.I.R.E. provided by Lighthouse.
