Human Services

Mission

The Human Services Administration shall serve as the eyes and ears of the public sector, facilitating and advising elected officials, funding sources, and the community at-large in the areas of human services and its delivery system. Its purpose shall be to guide this community to respond to human needs in a collaborative, cost efficient, and expedient manner with available resources; and to assist in generating new resources when necessary.

  1. Announcing 2016-2017 Juvenile Justice Funding
    The Juvenile Justice Review Committee funding meeting is Friday November 4th from 9 to 12 in Room 303 in the City County Building. Every program applying for juvenile justice grant funding needs to complete the attached Program Request Form and e-mail it to Jenni Ryan at jryan@lancaster.ne.gov no later than Friday, October 28 at Noon (12:00). This is for Title II, Juvenile Services, Community Aid, Community Aid Enhancement and Juvenile Justice Prevention Funds. All existing and new programs need to complete the attached form to be considered for juvenile grant funding through Lancaster County.
    All existing and new programs planning on applying for any of these pots of grant funding needs to complete the attached Program Request Form and e-mail it to Jenni Ryan no later than Friday, October 28 at Noon (12:00). If you have any questions, please contact Sara Hoyle at 441-6868.
    Sara and Rhonda will be hosting a grant writing training immediately following the JJRC meeting on November 4th.
