Denton is a Village form of government. Five Trustees serve on the
Village Board. Election for trustees is held every two years during
the November General Election. Trustees serve a four year term. In
December of every year the Trustees appoint a Chairman of the Board,
Sewer Commissioner, Clerk/ Treasurer, Water Commissioner, Village
Attorney and Street Superintendent.
Regular meetings of the Village Board are held on the first Monday of the month at 7 o'clock p.m. in
the Denton Community Center. The public is encouraged to attend.

The Denton office of the U.S. Postal Service
serves 346 rural route addresses and 70 box numbers. The light blue
building located on the corner of Lancaster Avenue and West Third
Street is convenient for Denton area residents as well as people just
passing through. Various community news items are posted on the
lobby’s bulletin board.
