Election Commission to be Open Additional Hours This Week to
Assist Voters for the LPS Special Election

Lincoln -- Lancaster County Election Commissioner David Shively announced today that the Lancaster County Election Commissioner's Office will be open additional hours to assist voters with issues regarding their mail-in ballots for the February 11, 2014 Lincoln Public Schools Special Bond Election.

If a voter has not received a ballot it mostly likely means that there was an issue with the voter's address. The ballot was probably returned to the Election Commissioner's office as undeliverable. Voters will need to visit the Election Commissioner's office to update their information and receive a replacement ballot. The deadline to receive a replacement ballot is Tuesday, February 11th at 12:00 p.m.

The Election Office, which is located at 601 North 46th Street, Lincoln, will be open during the following times through Saturday, February 8, 2014:

Monday, February 3rd - 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday, February 4th - 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, February 5th - 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, February 6th - 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Friday, February 7 - 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Saturday, February 8th - 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Anyone having questions regarding the election should contact the Election Office at (402) 441-7311 for additional information.
