Non-incumbent Candidate and Political Party Convention Delegate
Filing Deadline is Thursday, March 1st
Lincoln — Lancaster County Election Commissioner David Shively reminded potential candidates for office that the non-incumbent filing deadline for federal, state, and local offices for the May 15th Primary Election is Thursday, March 1, 2012.
In addition, voters wishing to file as delegates to the political party's county conventions must also file by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2012.
Candidates for federal and state offices file with the Nebraska Secretary of State's office which is located in Suite 2300 on the second floor of the State Capitol. Candidates for county and local offices and for delegates to the political party conventions will file with the Lancaster County Election Commissioner's office which is located at 601 North 46th Street, Lincoln.
