The applicant must complete an application for Locksmith Registration Certificate which must be signed and dated by the applicant.
After the application has been completed, return the application to our office at 555 So. 10th Street, Lincoln, NE 68508 along with the $5.00 fee and we will process your Locksmith License request. **All applications are submitted to the County Attorney for a criminal records check.
Any applications returned to us incomplete will be returned to the applicant.
The County Clerk must sign the locksmith license and the seal must be affixed for the license to be valid.
The locksmith certificate will remain valid until the name of the individual, the name of the place of business, or the address of the place of business changes. At the time of such change a new registration shall be required.
After selecting the Locksmith License Application, the application will load into Acrobat Reader,
which will allow you to fill in the information on-line and print it.
