Water Projects Under Construction
- • NW 56th and W Adams
- The City of Lincoln has awarded construction of the NW 56th and West Adams Streets Improvements Project to Dobson Brothers Construction. The construction activities are scheduled to begin in July of 2008 with completion in September of 2009.
- • Adams from 70th to 98th
- The East Adams project includes a paved roadway with curb, gutter and sidewalks as well as left-turn and right-turn lanes at intersections. A traffic signal at 84th Street and Leighton Avenue and a new water main in the area of 90th Street are also being installed.
- • Greenwood to Lincoln Water Transmission Line
- The transmission main will increase water capacity between Greenwood and Lincoln to match the ultimate capacity of the well fields in Ashland. It will also provide a redundant supply line separated from the existing transmission mains for security and emergency purposes.
- • Pine Lake from 84th to 98th
- A new water main will be built along Pine Lake Road from 95th to 98th streets.
