Mayor Beutler biked to work May 11 to kick off National Bike to Work Week. Click here for photos of the bike rally later that morning at the County-City Building.

City employees Rashi Jain from Planning and Pam Hoffman and Bob Nemecek from Risk Management greeted bikers with bagels, courtesy of the Lincoln Parks Foundation.

In addition to Mayor Beutler, rally speakers included Jon Carlson (Biketacular), Jim Carveth (Trail Trek), County Commissioner Ray Stevens, Beth Thacker (Great Plains Trails Network) and Jayne Snyder, who was recently elected to the City Council.
